Competition Introduction

At a crucial moment when the world is jointly addressing climate change and promoting green transformation, the International Green Future Alliance (IGFA), in collaboration with the International Youth Sustainable Innovation Summit (YSS), the International Youth (Europe) Sustainable Innovation Center, the World Design Organization and other international authoritative institutions, jointly established the Global Green Sustainable Development Award (GSDA). The aim is to commend projects, technologies, policies and actors who have made outstanding contributions in the field of green sustainable development worldwide, to promote cross-disciplinary and cross-generational dialogues and cooperation, and to help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The GSDA is based on the urgent needs of global ecological governance and sustainable development, focusing on five key areas: "green innovation, low-carbon transformation, ecological protection, circular economy, and inclusive growth". We believe that by identifying, motivating, and promoting forward-looking, effective, and replicable green solutions, we can accelerate the implementation of the global green agenda and promote a future of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
